The Cellar
Deep roots,
sustainable vision
In the heart of western Sicily, between the lights of the Mediterranean and the suspended silence of the salt pans, Feudo Stagnone was born.
The winery traces its roots back to 1960, when a group of winemakers decided to come together to cherish and enhance an extraordinary territory. Since then, we have been carrying on a collective vision of wine made up of sharing, respect and a deep connection with the land.

In the heart of the Stagnone Reserve
Our vineyards extend within the Stagnone Nature Reserve, a unique ecosystem suspended between sky and sea. Here, among islands, salt pans and brackish winds, we grow exclusively native grapes – such as Grillo, Perricone, Catarratto and Zibibbo – with full respect for biodiversity and environmental fragility.
Every choice we make is guided by one principle: to return the authentic voice of the land to the wine.
01
Wind
of the Stagnone
The sea breezes that constantly flow through the Stagnone Reserve are a blessing for our vines. This natural flow of air, coming from the sea and laden with salinity, not only mitigates the summer heat but regulates humidity, reducing the risk of disease and promoting slower, more harmonious ripening of the grapes.
The result? Wines with great freshness, fine structure and vibrant natural acidity that enhances their elegance and longevity.
02
Filtered light
from the salt flats
The unique landscape of the salt pans creates unique lighting conditions. The sun’s reflections on the water and salt amplify light intensity, but at the same time diffuse it gently and evenly. This phenomenon stimulates photosynthesis in the plants without stressing them, leading to clusters rich in aroma, complexity and color.
The result is wines that tell the story of the warmth of the South with surprising aromatic finesse.
03
Practices
sustainable
Growing within a nature reserve is a responsibility we embrace every day with pride. We apply methods with a low environmental impact: low yields per hectare to prioritize quality, targeted use of water, respect for native flora and fauna.
Our viticulture is not just production, but a daily gesture of protection and enhancement of a fragile and precious ecosystem.
04
A landscape
to be protected
Our vineyards are not isolated: they live in symbiosis with one of Sicily’s most fascinating environments. Historic salt marshes, windmills, islands suspended over the water and the presence of pink flamingos make the Stagnone a landscape of rare beauty and ecological value.
Producing wine here means preserving a millennial balance between nature and culture, between man and territory. Each harvest is an act of respect for this living heritage.
